On the sidelines of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2025), and within the framework of continuous monitoring of mining companies’ operations in Egypt, Mr. Issam Khorani, Chairman of NUBIAN MINING, held a fruitful meeting with Geologist Yasser Ramadan, Chairman of the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA).

During the meeting, Mr. Issam Khorani showcased the latest updates regarding the ongoing research and exploration activities at the ” UM RUS” concession area. He emphasized Nubia Mines’ unwavering commitment to operating in accordance with sound mining practices and internationally recognized evaluation systems, prominently the global JORC Code.

Mr. Issam Khorani also shared that the company has reached highly advanced stages in its exploration operations, including reserve estimation and conducting comprehensive metallurgical testing.

For his part, Geologist Yasser Ramadan praised the outstanding performance of NUBIAN MINING and its impressive execution rates of the approved work plans, encouraging the company to inject further investments into Egypt’s promising mining sector.

In response, the Chairman of NUBIAN MINING expressed his deep appreciation for the continuous support and cooperation provided by EMRA, describing the collaborative relationship with the Authority as a true model of “Partners in Success.”

To conclude the meeting, both parties agreed to strengthen their mutual collaboration. This will include an initiative where Nubia Mines will provide specialized training for EMRA employees on the latest drilling and exploration techniques. Furthermore, they agreed to maintain active communication channels and hold periodic meetings to track operational progress.
